The 2012 Venturefest Yorkshire event will take on February 8th 2012 at York Racecourse.  It will involve:

• Breakfast Networking event & other Innovative Networking sessions 
• An Investment Competition in which a minimum of 6 pre-selected participants from science, technology or innovative businesses will pitch to not only seek investment but also win a support prize worth in the region of £30,000
• An Innovation Showcase where we select 36 of the best science, technology or innovative businesses companies in the region to exhibit and promote their new ideas
• A variety of seminars and a high profile debate all designed to educate and inspire both the entrepreneurs of today and in the future
• A dinner and awards ceremony
• Opportunities for young people to showcase their enterprising potential
• A large exhibition where delegates can network with suppliers and select new partners for future advice and make procurement decisions

If you are a science and technology entrepreneur then you will find inspiration, advice and investment at Venturefest.  If you are an investor or a business that works with businesses in these sectors then you will find innovative ideas and motivated business people to invest in and meet.
