Finance Yorkshire Summer 2010 Newsletter
Dear Reader,
Welcome to the first edition of Inspire, Finance Yorkshire’s new quarterly newsletter
We are delighted to announce that Finance Yorkshire is now up and running and we’ve successfully completed our first investments.
- Sheffield-based printers, Northend Creative Print Solutions, have received a £75,000 business loan towards innovative new software that will help the company expand their web to print service. The service will allow clients to place a branded order form within their website so that customers can order either pre-printed or personalised items such as branded greeting cards online.
- Reset Training Ltd, a company which offers a variety of training courses ranging from electrical and site safety to first aid and personal coaching, has received £15,000 to assist with working capital and to help the company with rebranding, including a complete redesign and upgrade to their website.
- IC Innovations, a pioneering consumer product design company that turns ideas into real products, has been given a £50,000 loan to finance stock. The Sheffield-based company, which counts Tesco and Morrisons as customers, is in its 5th year of trading and handles everything from concept development through to manufacture, retail and international distribution.
- Fresh Pastures CIC, a Wakefield-based company which supplies milk and other morning products to schools and councils across the region, has received £75,000 of funding from Finance Yorkshire’s business loan fund. The company is planning to use the investment for its working capital requirement to assist the business with its growth strategy.
Helping a range of small and medium sized businesses meet the gaps in funding they need for growth and development, Finance Yorkshire provides seedcorn, loan and equity linked investments, ranging from £15k to £2m.
- Seedcorn Finance – Up to £780k
- Business Loans - £15k - £150k
- Equity Linked Finance – £100k – £2m
We have already received hundreds of applications from businesses, but we continue to urge companies within Yorkshire, the Humber, North and North East Lincolnshire who are looking for finance to grow to get in touch with us.
We do hope you enjoy reading Inspire.
