About Finance Yorkshire

Finance Yorkshire provides seedcorn, loan and equity linked investments, ranging from £15k to £2m, specifically to help small and medium businesses meet the gaps in funding they need for development or acquisitions.

Created as part of the Objective 1 programme, the Fund is a private and public sector business finance provider. The European Regional Development Fund and Yorkshire Forward are investors in the Fund.

Funds Available

The Fund provides three main products, structured to back businesses through critical stages of growth:

• Seedcorn Start-up Finance
• Business Loans
• Equity Linked Investments

Almost all sectors are eligible (some restrictions apply) and we will look at capital expenditure, working capital, start-ups and expansions.

Finance Yorkshire often works alongside other finance providers such as banks, and other lenders and can help put together a finance package to meet your needs.
